Bonjour Service

In the process of installing Photoshop CS3, I seem to have also had something called Bonjour Service installed. I'm using XP he SP2.
In C:\Program Files\Bonjour there are two files: mdnsNSP.dll and mDNSResponder.exe
I've been told I can disable this service but it's not listed in Services and I've been told I can disable it in msconfig but it's not there either.
It's a Apple product and they have a .exe that will disable it but I'd like to disable it and then remove it.
Anybody here familiar with this program?
