access a remote disk ..

Hi,

I just forgot the character that I should type to access another computer's
disk space. For example, if I want to access a computer, say DD, then in
windows explorer I should type something similar to the one below and then
XP will ask me login user id/password. The $ below is wrong. But what
should it be? Can someone point the document for it? Thanks for any help.

\\DD\$
