Thank you for that. The HD was wiped before I bought it and the only thing
on the hard drive was a fresh install of WinXP Pro. (albeit not a valid
copy) and little else. If I purchase the retail version of XP Home (leaning
that way) can I install it over what I have now or should I uninstall the
invalid XP Pro first -or reformat the HD (have never done that-somewhat
daunted by that as I am new at this). Thanks.
