or do you mean here - http://www.uktsupport.co.uk/advent/advidx.htm again i
can't see anything regards this there either.
i think i downloaded this before - High Definition Audio Codecs - Windows
2000, Windows XP/2003(32/64 bits) Driver only (Executable file)- R1.73
version.
that i remember worked but completely messed up my comptuer - could not open
files, explorer was in danish or something like that - maybe i should try that
again ?

hi thanks for info
i am novice - as you might guess.
the comp is advent7109 - the sound type is ac97
went to realtek and downloaded - Windows 98Gold/98se/Me/2000/XP/2003(32/64
bits) for Driver only. For Windows 98 SE, DirectX(R)8 is required to
enable
advanced features. (Executable file) - version a4.01
nothing happenned - no sound at all - is this the right driver etc.
that disc you mention is that the notebook supporting utility ? or
tracking
disc ? - if i put these discs in can i choose what to load or will it
completely replace my settings etc ?
thanks !

not even getting warning beeps for errors etc.
how do i get this back ? what should i download - nothing seems to
work.
Find and download the proper soound device drivers for your computer.
Maybe you have a drivers CD that came with it?
Perhaps you have a manual?
Perhaps you have a receipt that details it?
Perhaps you can contact the manufacturer or go to their web support page?
