Yes.
(2) I'd like to delete the Net Framework v1.1 account so that I can
boot up my computer directly without having to deal with a logon
window. I'm also wondering if this program was installed because this
game has an option for online gaming. If this is the reason this
account was installed, and since I don't intend to do any online
gaming, would it be okay to delete this account so that I can go back
to my normal boot up routine?
There is no need to delete the ASP.Net account. Some other program will recreate it sometime later anyway. You can enable Autologon:
---Method--1----------
- Click Start > Run
- Type "control userpasswords2" (Without quotes)
- Click OK
- Select your account from the list
- Uncheck "User must enter a user name and password to use this computer"
- Click OK
- If it asks, enter your user name and password.
---------------------------
---Method--2----------
1. Download TweakUI*
2. Click Start > Run
3. Type tweakui
4. Expand Logon > Click "AutoLogon"
5. Tick "Logon Automatically at system startup"
6. Verify your User name & Password (by clicking "Set password")
7. Click OK to exit tweakui
