There is no such thing as "Windows anti virus" and anti virus does not come with Windows.

If you already had anti virus, either you installed it or it came with the computer.

Open the Security Center and see what anti virus is installed.
ZA may be all that is listed.

I just purchased ZoneAlarm Security Suite and my confirmation email stated
this:

I'm quite sure I enabled the Windows antivirus before I installed ZoneAlarm
because it popped up - I wasn't protected at the time (ZoneAlarm trial
version previously expired) so I thought I needed to do that. I didn't know
the above info. I need to know the path to disable the Windows antivirus.
