I don't know if this the proper forum but I didn't know where else to turn.---
I recently installed Norton's Internet Security 2007 and ever since the
performance of my machine has gone down the drain. It literally takes
over
10 minutes to boot up. It's way too coincidental that this performance
problem began after installing this software. Does anyone have an idea
what
Norton might be doing that's causing this bogged down performance?
Thanks
Norton and McAfee have been apps to avoid for years. That's just the
beginning of your problems. You will be better off trying to uninstall it
which is next to impossible to get rid of all of it., and don't try it
again. Plenty of free apps work better or try something like Trend Micro
PC-cillin Internet Security and there are others which have stood the test
of time. Search for and read user reviews before buying/using software.
