I tried activating a fresh Windows XP Professional install online but got
a
funny error message. The Activation Wizard informed me that my copy was
activated too many times for the serial key. DO I need to buy Windows XP
all
over again to get a new serial key? I can't belive that Microsoft put such
lame activation policies. Will Vista enforce such strict activation rules?



If your copy is legal and does not exist on any other PC...
you need to call Microsoft and explain the situation
