Over the past year start up and shutdown of the windows xp operating
system
has become very slow (like 3 to 4 minutes slow). Tried removing the junk
from
the start menu and doing all the normal things to improve performance but
to
no avail. Anyone got any ideas on how I can speed things up other than
threatening to throw the base unit out of closed 2nd floor window?
.
