the "simple things" are only simple if you know them. :-)

I hit f11 and it opened full screen with a few icons in the upper left
corner (back and next buttons, up folder and folders icons). When I
clicked the middle button in the upper right, the one to put it back in a
window, I could see a partial text word on the far right. I made sure the
menu bar was not locked but I couldn't drag the text section below or
above the few icons on the left, so I pulled the line between the windows
and the menu to enlarge the menu area, and it dropped down the text
section. I was then able to get the window back to the way it should
look.
You're a genius. Thanks so much to you both for all your help and
support. I really appreciate it!!!!!

When I upgraded to Media Player 11, it somehow changed the way my
Windows Explorer window appears. It use to open with a menu on top,
then a row of icons and text menu and then my folders and files
windows. Now, when I open it I have no menus at all, just the file and
folders windows. There is no place to right click to show the menus.
I've tried everything but can't get my windows explorer window back the
way it should be and I don't know where else to look (if I double click
My Computer, then on my C drive I can get a window with menus so that I
can get to tools and options and I've tried resetting all windows). Any
suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

I could be way off base here but try hitting F11 that toggles Explorer
to
and from full screen. maybe it's been accidentally toggled to full
screen.

No where near a genius :-) Sometimes the simple things just get over
looked. Glad I could help.
