Re: Colour settings

By "turn off my PC at the mains" do you mean that you are powering
down your PC by just turning off the power instead of using Windows
shutdown? If so, this may be your problem. The Windows shutdown saves
changes that you've made such as to the colour settings. Just turning
off the power does not allow Windows to save those changes. (Just
turning off the power can also eventually cause corruption to your
hard disk, forcing you to rebuild the system.)

Hi,
I keep losing my colour settings! it seems to have started happening
when I started to turn off my PC at the mains. Leave it off for a
couple of days and when turning on I have to go into Control Panel
and reset all the colours! I suspected battery, but my dealer says
no.
Any ideas out there?
Also, does anyone know of a east to use bit of software to set up
colours? Gamma etc?
Thanks
Oz
