Re: Quick Launch Bar

Hi Brad,

Go to Tools>Internet Options>Advanced tab. Under the Browsing section,
scroll to locate and uncheck "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts", Apply,
OK. Now see if your QuickLaunch shortcut opens in a new browser window.

Thanks for taking the time to read my question.

I hope this is the correct forum to post this question. If not, please
let
me know the best place to post. Thanks.

I have created a button for the qucik launch tool bar that opens my web
browser to a web page. I'd like it to open in a new browser window.
Right
now it just opens in what ever browser window is open and then I lose the
page I was on.

What do I need to do to get the button to open a NEW browser window? I am
assuming it nees to be a prefix of some sort before the url in the
shortcut's
target line.

Thanks,

Brad
