Management of Partitions

I have a physical drive with three active partitions. Via XP's Disk
Management, I see two other partitions that at one time were used in a Linux
environment. The partitions do not have drive assignment, i.e. E, F, G for
instance. They are noted as Healthy (Unknown Partition). Right clicking
notes "Delete Logical Drive" (only, all other options are grayed out). IF
deleted, are they gone forever-or- is there space added to Free Space?

Also . .

I have, C, D, and E. The two partitions noted above are beyond E. If they,
the above, can be added to Free Space (now 1.1 GB in size), I could format
them. If so, could I move stuff in E to the new partition, stuff in D to
what is now in E, and open up D to expand C? Better said, how do I add Free
Space to 'C'? Apps are in D and E. The 9.7 GB C is still crammed with
about 10% free space!
