When creating a new e-mail (or reply/forward), check to see if you have a
From textbox and a drop-down button at the end of the From box.
If you do, you have to select what From account you want to be used for the
e-mail.

I'm using Outlook Express 6.0 and when I send an email, the email
shows
that it is coming
from the account I originally set up instead of my alias, which is
much
easier to remember.
I use Verizon DSL and have talked to their support people and they've
told me how to
correct the problem, which I have, but it still doesn't work. Any
ideas
would be
appreciated.

instead of my alias. Verizon
