The same password that you (or whatever user is logged in) used to initially login to Windows.

If that's the account you're logged in to, yes.


or will I be required to have set up something else prior to locking?


You can't be using WinXP without having a user account and password (even if it's blank and therefore worthless) already, but if you've haven't already created an account for your daily use, now would be a good time.
