Installing updates

I have auto updates swicth to "Auto download, but let me choose when to
install" on my XP SP2 machine.
It has downloaded some updates, as when I shut down I get the option to
"Click here not to install updates"
I don't want to install the updates on shutdown as I have had problems with
that in the past.
However the install "Shield" in the icon tray is not there!
Please can anyone tell me how I can install these downloaded updates?
