What about media player? I have always had problems with my media player
freezing, and playing one note.. like it's stuck on it.. .. I am currently
using 10 .. is there a way to go back to an older version.. one older than
what I can roll back to.. or is there a place I can download an older one,
one with less goodies.. that might be causing the problem.. if not I will do
as you suggested.. thanks Rainy
Media Player would be at this time your most likely candidate as you problems source. It should not be a problem with the OS or sound card when not corrupted, which your's most likely is.
You should uninstall it, find/remove anything left behind and reinstall it. If the problem persists with it installed, uninstall it and use an alternative.
