If as you say that you have onboard/integrated sound/video chipset, then you need to get the appropriate sound/video chipset drivers from the motherboard manufacturer. Although many times the drivers from the distributor of the software/firmware may/will work, it's always advisable to get the firmware/drivers from the motherboard manufacturer because manufacturers alter the firmware/drivers to their specs for the chipsets.

Create a new folder named Everest and extract the contents of the download to
that folder.
Open the folder and double-click everest.exe to run the application.
Next:
Click the + next to Computer.
Click Summary.
Right click in the right pane and in the popup menu click "Copy All".
Start a response in this thread.
Right click in the text window and in the popup menu click "Paste".
Send the response.

Hi, I keep losing my sound..don't realize it and when I do, I reboot andmotherboard
it's back, just like magic. :) I recently downloaded the lasted
driver. My sound is inboard.. Analog Devices is the manufacture for sound
