Actually it does not. I have looked for this application to see if it had
indeed been installed but I see nothing on my system as far as I can tell. I
looked in Add/Remove and it does not show and noting in my Programs folder.
I searched and noting found. I wonder if it might me left over from removing
that application or if it is present under another named applicaiton or
somehow included in another bundled package. I have ShellExView already
installed and see nothing there that looks like what I am looking for.

You can use ShellExView to disable the context menu handlers.

If Explore appears at the top it can be changed to Open.

Set Open as default for (NONE) Folder in Folder Options.

Start | Run | Type: control folders | Click OK |
File Types tab | Scroll down to and Select: (NONE) Folder |
Advanced button | Highlight: open | Set Default | Click OK |
Click Apply | Click OK

If Search appears at the top, this is usually because of a problem.
And Search also opens instead of the folder when double clicking.

Is it possible to change and move items that appear in these
menus? I would like the "open" option to appear at the top like it
does on my other systems. I would like to move and or remove other
options also.

TIA.

Thanks for some very interesting information. I have look at every
link to find what I am looking for but I seem to be missing
something or an understand of what I must to do remove or move the
troublesome entrees. When I right click on any icon I see the two
top entrees as saying "Save Desktop Items" and "Restore Desktop
Items". I have used these features in the past when I have for some
reason had my Icons move from one monitor to the other on my dual
monitor systems. I have been grateful for this but could do without
them or would like to move them to some other place on the drop down
menus. I only have these on one System and am not used to it when I
click to fast thinking I am opening that program and I am not. I
was not able to find a reference to these features and only
references to actual programs like Norton etc. Would you know
perhaps if I have over looked the ability to move these to another
location? I can not identify any registry keys that reflect these
entrees but I am not at all experienced in dealing with Reg. keys
anyway. I will spend more time looking in search of a solution and
will wait for a reply if you or anyone else has anything to add that
may allow be to find what I need to know.

TIA.

Bob
