hi ron,

thanx for you reply. i did as you told,WHEN I REBOOTED windows xp i got a
blue screen giving following error

STOP :0x0000007E (0xC0000005,0xF31844D0,0xF7B29FC8,0xF7B29CC4)

It seems to be some hardware proble but which one I don't know.

The name of the error is SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

"This indicates that a system thread generated an exception which the
error handler did not catch."

The first parameter indicates that the exception was a
STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION and the second parameter says that the
exception happened at memory address 0xF31844D0.

The fact that the computer boots in Safe Mode but not in Safe Mode
With Networking indicates that the network card may be involved in
some way.

1. Determine the make and model of the network card in the problem
computer and check with the manufacturer's web site for updated
drivers for it. Download these drivers and save them to a USB memory
stick, CDR disk, or similar. Boot the problem computer into Safe Mode
and install the updated drivers.

2. Another option would be to remove the network card completely
(unless it is integrated into the motherboard of the problem
computer).

3. When the problem computer is running use Start - Run and enter
PSTAT in the dialog box. Does it work or does it report "not found"?

Post the results back here and we will proceed to the next step, which
may involve some more downloading on a working computer and then
installing the downloaded program on the problem machine while it is
running in Safe Mode.

Good luck
