Thanks.

My computer is working good, so I am a little hesitant in running the
defrag
program. The analysis shows and recommends that I do. Is there anything
that I should be a little leary of by running defrag?
Thanks.

In addition to the sound suggestions from Callmark, I find DiskClean-up can
be slower than Defrag.
I, as a rule, work off-line, pull the plug on net connection, disable
antivirus(in partic Mcaffee) - that tends to speed things up sometimes.
