Hii u can first set all the folders to ur defalt wished view and set
individual folders (like my pics, music, etc) with the view u wish set it
and close the folder next time u open it u will see the last set view (the
view u just set!)

I have some folders that that need detail views, some that need detail
views but need different columns to display, and some folders that need
thumbnail views.
For My Music folders I want to see bit rate, duration, title, artist,
size, etc.
For My Documents I want different details, like create date, mod date,
subject, author, etc.
For My Pictures I want Thumbnail view.
For other folders I will want detail view but will want different columns
than My Documents.
I realize I can change ALL FOLDERS to have the same view as the one I am
in, but that doesn't really help me because I have to change several other
folders to have their own view.
Not whining, but I have lots and lots of folders......
I would like to go to a 'main' folder and set the view, and have an option
to apply that view to ALL folders OR apply to all Subfolders.
Maybe I dreamed it, but it seems I read something that you can do like
that. I remember it required that you change your folders view to 'Show
common tasks', which I do not have enabled normally. So tonight I tried
'Show common tasks in folders', but still found no option to affect change
to subfolders.
Anyone know if it is possible? Or does anybody know of a 3rd party folder
manager that would do this?
