You formatted the drive and want to install Xp, but you don't have a disc.
Priceless.
XP does not come on floppies, it is cd only. The floppy images you are
finding are for setting up on a system that has a nonbootable cd drive.
You have three options.
1.Contact the PC manufacturer and find out what they provide for restore
tools and discs.
2. Go buy a copy of XP
3. Go get a pirated copy of XP (Note: This method is only reccomended for
scumbags or actual sea lovin, parrot on the shoulder, shiver me timbers,
pirates. arrrgh!)

Hi, I copied all of my files off of my hard drive and now I want to
reinstall XP clean. I loaded the bootdisk floppy, formatted the drive
and now am ready to setup. What is the next step? I don't have any XP
disks as the computer didn't come with them. I have heard that you can
look in the i386 folder and do is somehow, or begin with the floppies
Micrsoft has up on the Net. Well, I want to proceed the way that is
easiest for a not-so-advanced user, so that I can be up and running by
week's end. I have the product key next to the computer and am ready
for your assistance, please help, ps
.
