If you formatted your hard drive, there is nothing you can do because your
i386 directory no longer exists.
Contact the PC manufacturer for reinstall CD's.

Hi, I copied all of my files off of my hard drive and now I want to
reinstall XP clean. I loaded the bootdisk floppy, formatted the drive
and now am ready to setup. What is the next step? I don't have any XP
disks as the computer didn't come with them. I have heard that you can
look in the i386 folder and do is somehow, or begin with the floppies
Micrsoft has up on the Net. Well, I want to proceed the way that is
easiest for a not-so-advanced user, so that I can be up and running by
week's end. I have the product key next to the computer and am ready
for your assistance, please help, ps
.
