Hi there John,
Sorry for the long wait...weekends and all that.
Try this:
Log in as the Guest Account.
Go to Start>Run and type in "runas /noprofile /user:mymachine\administrator
ncpa.cpl" No quotes. (mymachine is the name of your computer and
administrator is the name of your administrator account.)
Create an Internet Connection.
Verify that you can get to the internet.
Reboot the machine.
Log in as Guest again.
Verify that you have internet connectivity.
Let me know how it goes. I'm kinda shooting from the hip here since I don't
have a copy of Windows Home handy and I've GPO'd my machines.
Best Regards,
~Will

There is no security to risk on this computer. If guest isn't supposed to
work, then fine. If it is supposed to work, then I would prefer it to.
Ease of access and lack of security is the point. If I wanted security, I'd
be using XP Pro and handing out individual accounts.
Do you know why the guest account has no access to the network connection
seen by other users?

Using XP Home, guest account enabled, no password. The wireless

let guests use the wireless network to access the internet? The
wireless network connections work fine for other users.
Don't use the guest account - according to MS Baseline Security advisor
it's a security risk and should be disabled.
Set up a new limited user account and call it "Visitor" or something like
that for your casual users.
