Yes. Packet writing is not natively supported in Windows XP.

Also now with Incd the last disc we loaded onto the desktop has now
had an Incd warning saying that for protection the disc has been
made write protected, how do i now remove that write protection put on
by INcd?


A cursory Google search shows others (over the years) with this issue -
mostly in late 2004/early 2005.. So I have to ask - how far behind is your
"InCD" version?

    ... You need to have InCD installed on the Laptop if you wish to continue to ... You might want to look at the InCD manual to see if you can find an answer ...
