All the
'microsoft.public.* newsgroups are de facto Usenet newsgroups, and are
accessed with a newsreader, along with perhaps 30,000 other Usenet
newsgroups.
Just an FYI, at my last count, there was like 140,000 total groups.
Not to say they all get traffic, but that's the total number in my reader
from the last time I d/l'd the group list.
