Hi,
I have a new pc & am with Wanadoo.
Wanadoo have stopped subscribing to newsgroups & i was wondering if
Microsoft do any groups to do with things that aren't computer
orientated that i can access via Outlook Express.
I do use groups on msn, but am wanting to use them this way via
Outlook. Also, my old pc can still access groups by Wanadoo even
though they've stopped, is this bvecause i registered to Wanadoo
groups with that pc before they stopped??

Like lots of other corporations, Microsoft has its own newsgroups. You
can access these groups with a newsreader - like your OE. The news
server is msnews.microsoft.com and no user name or password is
required.
I don't know why you are still able to get the Wanadoo groups. Perhaps
they are leaving the news server up for a little while. For public
newsgroups, you can subscribe to a for-pay news service like Giganews
or look around for a free one.
See this article about Usenet to get a better understanding of things.

Here is a link which I got from the article with a list of Usenet
providers:
