I'm confused...

You minimize a website--presumably pressing the minimize button (the
one in the middle) on Internet Explorer, and then you close the next
website--clicking on the 'X' button on Internet Explorer, the window
you originally minimized disappears?

What shows up on the taskbar? Anything? What Operating system are you
using? Windows XP or 98 or aother?
