This happened to me using the Recall Plus study program. The window was so
large, I could not read or access all of the notes area. I contact them and
they told me I had to click on the screen to make it smaller. What a pain.
And, wasted money. Too aggrevating to use.

I have read all the resizing tips, but have not found one to help me. I have
windows that open that do not have a maximize/minimize option nor are they
stretchable. I can not read the information on most of them because I can't
see the page or move it arrond. this happens with programs I am running, not
with IE.

This is an error the programmer made - placing text in a window that is not
resizable. Your only hope is that scroll bars have been provided OR the
program has its own font settings independent of Windows settings.

Workaround: You could try changing DPI back to normal. (Display Properties>
Settings> Advanced> DPI)

While this should make all of the text appear within the provided window's
boundaries, it will also make fonts throughout Windows smaller. Maybe on a
temporary basis to access those windows and change back later?
Unfortunately, not a perfect solution or workaround.

For what it's worth, this has been a shortcoming of Windows and Windows
programs for quite some time. The development teams at MS have made some
good advances at providing "scalability" for these types of situations in
the next version of Windows. These advances are not perfect either but so
far they are a big improvement over what we have now.
