Maybe it's an SP2 thing. I have XP Pro SP1.
Do these work?
net /? or NET STATISTICS /?
Net statistics

Do you have the Server and/or Workstation services running?
That might be it.
No, I'll bet a nickel you have neither of those services running. ;-) Let
