Have you tried an even earlier date? If it still comes up with
'unsuccessful' it maybe that the system restore files are corrupt. If this
is the case i'm afraid there is nothing you can really do to restore the
system back.
If you have installed software that has caused a problem and that is the
reason you need to restore, you might try uninstalling the software itself.

Hi All,
I am trying to restore my XP2 to an earlier date but - it is a no go,
tells me "unsuccessful".
Any idea what to do? (BTW - it is enabled).
