Re: Internet Explorer not working

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Okay, I tried that and IE still pops up and then hangs. Mozilla is working
fine. Any other suggestions?

If you have installa SP2 try this: start > run and type in "cmd" without
the quotes. In the newxt screen type in

netsh winsock reset

and restart Windows.

Internet Explorer opens but when you click on it, it hangs. This has
been going on for a few days now. Mozilla Firefox is working okay. I
just did an Avast virus scan (free version) and removed 2 viruses from
the computer. That didn't help any. How can I troubleshoot my IE? Would
reinstalling it help?
