It simply means the software/drivers havent been certified by MS.
You might check NEC site to see if there is any update.
It doesnt mean NEC is unreliable/not to be trusted
Companies, I believe, are supposed to submit their software/drivers to MS to
obtain certification, and pay big bucks for this.
Its more a cautionary msg.
PS deleting a folder, without using the uninstall procedure, can cause
problems
