Re: Msconfig

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

nVidia cards is what nvcpl is.. I had forgotten about this nifty webpage.
http://www.kephyr.com/filedb/index.php?viewtopic=ctfmon usually I google.
but sometimes I forget.. :) and no I don't have nortons.. well I have a
stand alone windoctor.... I have never known how to search registry for
msconfig entries.. I typed nvcpl in run.. and didn't get anywhere.. do you
mean in the registry.. could you explain further?..

it appears that ctfmon is or could be a windows file or a virus.. I don't
think this one is the virus.. This problem with msconfig coming up
everytime is really annoying and all the help I have gotten.. was supposed
to work under normal circumstances.. but not today.. :)... I'm thinking it
could be a program that is causing this.. but don't have a clue which one..
thanks Rainy
