Probably not an application that's hanging, so task manager doesn't ask to
'End Task'. Could be a 'service' that's still running. When logging off,
note the time on your system clock. Log back in. You might get a hint to
which one by clicking Start > Programs > Administrative Tools > Event
Viewer. Select 'System' on left side pane, note any errors or warnings on
the right side pane. Also select 'Applications' and look for the same errors
& warnings.
