After reading all the postings I am surprised that no one mentioned or
recommended Spy Sweeper 4.5 by Webroot. I have Ad-Aware Personal SE 1.06 and
Spy Bot S & D 1.4 and found spyware that they could identify, but could not
remove. I have forgotten the specific name of the spyware.
Anyway I purchased Spy Sweeper and it found the affected spyware and
successfully removed it without any problems. You can purchase Spy Sweeper
for approximately $25 at Sam's Club or similar. Of course the purchase of
this software is your decision, as the other two programs are free.
I now have all three programs installed and each finds spyware that the
others do not. So as someone said, the more good spyware programs you have
installed the better. No one spyware program does it all.
