Remember Folder View

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

I have been running Windows XP for some time now and cannot seem to get the
folders to remember the view settings I have chosen. I have tried numerous
tips. Does anyone have an answer for this problem?
