I've just recently learned that there's an upgrade available to upgrade XP home to XP Pro. I'm
just moving into the realm of web development,
and the use of modern web development tools
..ASP and IIS SQL database management
facilities are required for use with windows 2003
systems.
Are there any cautions you'd advise? I don't
want to lose my settings, classic explorer views,
favorites, and SP upgrades for MS apps?
And I certainly don't want to reformat my C
drive.
Re: D6 to D2006 (Win32 Only) ... And as for web development, we currently use D6 just fine by developing the soap server side and we have ASP/php developers for the web side. ... The upgrade cost to D2006 would be substantial because we would have to upgrade several expensive components that require a purchased upgrade to get to D2005/6. ... I realize there are IDE improvements, but a lot of that could probably be solved with 3rd party IDE experts.... (borland.public.delphi.non-technical)

Desktop constantly freezing ... then the thing completely freezes (not ... or grabbing a scroll bar of an application and moving it very fast. ... I also upgraded to the latest BIOS. ...upgrade did not change a thing --- still freezes at a rate of many ... (comp.os.linux.setup)
