OK let's get down to business.
Go to Start
-> Run
--> Type msconfig and hit enter
---> Click the startup tab, Quicktime's background application is qttask, so
uncheck that and hit enter.
Have a look in Start -> All Programs -> Startup to (delete it if it's there
too).

Re: NTLDR - MISSING ERROR ... When the windows CD starts booting it doesn't give me a choice. ... to hit R but nothing happens it trys to start loading basic drivers ... Are you able to log into Safe Mode by tapping the F8 until you get the Boot... CD to boot with first and I still get the NTLDR is Missing error.... (microsoft.public.windowsxp.general)
