In my ME days I somehow came up with a utility that brought up a print preview window after clicking the print button in any application I had loaded that would print. I've check the Corel apps, Office 97, PaperPort, Adobe Reader, PhotoDeluxe, Quickbooks, Bitware Fax. I've searched for Windows components, I've looked for H-P utilities and for the life of me I cannot remember where it came from. I don't believe it was a free ware or shareware program, but something that was offered in one of the apps loaded. Does this handy print preview ring a bell with anyone? It seems logical that it would be a H-P thing. It had horizontal and vertical rulers, zoom, and other nifty thingies. It saved a lot of paper especially when printing photos. Granted most apps have the print preview already there, but it always was there in case I forgot to check what the document would look like. I did also search newsgroups , but no go. Thanks for any help or memory jogger. (I am getting older, you know).

As I recall, it's an option during the install of the HP printer driver. Download the HP printer driver and install it again, checking if there is an option for quick or custom install, and choose custom to be sure the option for the print previewer is selected.
Before installing the printer driver, take a look at the printer driver's properties. In my HP printer, under printing defaults, Features, there is an option for "Show HP Preview"
.
