Option 1:
Do start->run->c:\boot.ini[enter]

If that does work then do
start->run->notepad c:\boot.init[enter}

Find and delete the /safeboot switch. Do not alter anything else.

Option 2:
WinKey-Pause *or* right click My Computer and select properties *or*
start->run->sysdm.cpl[enter]
Go to the advanced tab, hit the settings button in the "Startup and
Recovery" box, hit the edit button at the top. Again, find and delete *just*
the /safeboot switch and do not alter anything else.
