BTW - Excellent explaination of the difference between a proxy and a NAT
device. It's nice to hear someone else explain it,..I've gotten tired of
doing it myself. I like to call them NAT devices rather than firewalls
because "firewall" is just too generic a term and can mean almost anything
in varying contexts. Even a proxy can be considered a "firewall" because it
either allows or disallows traffic according to rules.
