I told what I had heard.. personally, I think that Norton products suck big
time, and would not use them..

I was part of a test group for Norton Firewall.. Symantec sent out 165
copies to various people, mainly those using ADSL and online 24/7.. I
dutifully ran the program.. I have never been hit by so many things ever.. I
gotten the impression that they were deliberately sending stuff at the test
group that would register but not break through.. in this way, they could
reasonably claim that their product worked well..

The laugh is that none of us were to be aware of the ID of each other.. the
Symantec employee in charge of the test screwed up big time and sent an
e-mail to all of us that showed the ID of all of the testers.. :))))

We then contacted each other and came to similar conclusions..

Symantec have yet to release a product that does not hamper the progress and
smooth running of a computer.. I don't care what other people say about
their stuff.. it doesn't happen here..

Stay safe
