Each account has a separate desktop, and there is also a shared desktop.
  The desktop for each account is found at C:\Documents and
Settings\<user account name>\Desktop. Icons you place there will only
show on the specific user account's desktop. Icons placed in
C:\Dcouments and Settings\All Users\Desktop, will appear on everyone's
desktop.
