My older system gave me that error until a BIOS update did away with it. In
my case, the "error" was informative only as there were no problems with
the system's day to day operations. In most cases, it's safe to ignore the
message.
"ACPI BIOS is attempting to write to an illegal IO port address" error
message when you open the event viewer
