I have Windows 2000 on my laptop and use the synchronization feature a lot.
My files are located on the office network so that my secretary can get at
them, etc. But when I am away from work (on a plane or such) I have all my
files right there on the laptop.
Now I would like to do the same thing on two of my home computers.
Unfortunately, synchronization doesn't see to be a feature of XP Home.

never have tried to synch that machine since it doesn't go anywhere and
there's no network to synch with anyway for that set up. I still use
Briefcase for some things, more as a way to back up though.

can't, and moving it to a folder that does synch correctly and see what
happens.
