To answer the question, Microsoft word and works are 2 different things.
Works is a package that includes several programs where word is ONE
program which is used to create documents. Word is usually sold in
both the WORKS suite and the OFFICE suite. The difference between
office and works are the OTHER software programs such as EXCEL for
office, and the Works spread*** for microsoft works. Works also
includes a database program that is similar to Access in the OFFICE
suite.
