what replaces backup / restore in Win XP?

What functions replace the "old" backup & restore
functions and how do you use them? My brothers pc got
the bloodhound virus and needs the MS04-011 patch, which
I downloaded but have no way to move it from my pc to
his. I do not have a CD burner.
