It is a laptop, LCD display, the screen resolution is
1400x1050 pixels. Even when I shrink the resolution to
1024x768, it still has the same problem.

I should be more clear, although I don't know how to
emplain it properly without showing it. Is there anyway I
could safely post a screen capture?

By me saying pop-up, I mean a new window without a tool
bar. An example of this is when I go to webmail, I click
on NEW> and where it has a drop down arrow (without a
scroll bar), it is supposed to say "Compose New Message"
and below that "Compose Fax" but instead, it has
just "Compose N" of "Compose New Message" and just the top
half of the characters in "Compose Fax".

I have checked to see whether this is just the
site/program, but it works fine on the other desktops.
This happens on other sites as well, but usually the
third 'window -in' meaning I am in the normal webpage, I
click on a link and another window appears (exactly like
the one I am in typing in now), and then you click to
browse/attach/whatever and it opens another page, but
everything is cut short and you cannot see what is
written, you cannot adjust the size and there is no scroll
bar.

Hope this helps!
